.. this could take a while! On the weekend I had the pleasure of attending the Abbey Medieval Festival which is certainly a photographers paradise with so much happening and many many people dressed up in costume, not just the exhibitors but the general public who come to watch. Everywhere you turned there was something interesting to photograph. They were lucky to have a perfectly sunny winters day for the event.
So over 700 photos later, it was time to leave! I've just spent about 3 hours going through the photos and trying to pick my favourites. I narrowed it down to just under 40 that I wanted to share with you :) So hope you have a few minutes spare and your scrolling finger is ready.
What? Elvis must have time travelled!
Lunch .. yummy paella made in massive big pans. Absolutely delicious.
Love this one even though its a bit blurry .. captured right at the perfect moment .. see the lance breaking as it hits the armour?
How cute is this little guy??!!
End of the day .. time to head home.
Stunning photos Lisa, you've captured it all so beautifully!

It does feel like you are in a whole different world, its incredible. There are camp sites set up everywhere and these guys just sit outside their tents and go about their medieval life. It's pretty cool.
